Dystopian Wars by Paul Cutting

Dystopian Wars

Dystopian Wars started out a few years ago as a naval miniatures game in a Steampunk setting.
The rule book is in its 2nd edition and the war has moved to the land and air. There is no paper work required, as in most naval games, pictorial tokens are used to represent damage, loses, morale etc...
The models are 1:1200 scale made of resin. They are spectacularly detailed and the easiest and fastest models to paint.
Their new starter set, 'Operation Shadow Hunter' pits the American against the Japanese. Each nations ships have special national flavours which adds to the excitement and interest of pitting your fleet against an opponents. The rules include special card play which adds another level of strategy to the wargame.
Any ship fan can learn the rules very quickly as they are very instinctive and well thought out. Thank you to Lawrence for trying a game with me on a newly painted 2' x 2' gaming board.
A fun game with as much detail or simplicity as you want, highly recommended.
